What a beautiful day! I have so much gratitude for everyone who made this concert possible. Wiebke and Thomas, words cannot express how much love and appreciation I have for you. Thank you for your dream, your commitment, and the love and joy you brought to this project!
Laurika, thank you for believing in this project and being our advocate and voice where we did not have one. You rock!
Yellowwood Primary, you are a role model of pro-active citizenship and going beyond the call of duty. We think of you today.
Fine Music Radio – thank you for giving this project wings. Literally on air too
And most of all: THANK YOU to the true ambassadors of NNI Ignite in this concert: the CT Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. This week I saw you take a leap into the unknown of brave expression, voicing your truths, learning to lean into each other (not having to hold it all alone), grappling with freedom, trust and accountability. Must of all, I saw you find and embrace you inner collective conductor, and access your innate intelligence as a connected and caring community. You are an inspiration to all of us, you are the YOUTH of South Africa!
